I want to say to anybody reading these comments ( of any age but young at heart) who is thinking about joining us for a couple of hours on a Monday morning – you have nothing to lose and everything to gain! Discover or rediscover that passion you had 20 or maybe 30 years ago for football . You’ll be joining a great bunch of people from the UK, USA, Sweden, Netherlands , Canada & of course Madeira. You’ll improve your flexibility get some exercise & fresh air, you’ll have fun meeting new people, you can become Cristiano Ronaldo after scoring a goal and then best of all, if you’ve got the time afterwards you can celebrate with us later over a coffee, beer or a Poncha. In addition, we’ve all enjoyed playing a small part in engaging with the local community ( including some people who don’t have all of our advantages) by getting them involved in walking football. I promise you you’ll love it. I’m now channeling my inner Mo Salah

A fab day being part of a great team, helping to entertain and give something back to our new community, then having a beer (or two) with a few of them afterwards. Priceless.
And guys….. after watching us doing that community aerobics class, we really need to do more stretching exercises. 😁
