After 10 months of hard work and planning, I am pleased to announce that Walking Football has finally arrived on Madeira, it has become successful, with our objective of bringing the sport and the benefits to the residents of the island, thanks to everyone who has played a part in making this possible, the list is endless.
We are now in the position of taking our project to another level, other areas of the island.
Being asked by Centro Desportivo de Madeira, Ribeira Brava (our home base) to put forward a demonstration of Walking Football at the celebration of their 14th Anniversary of their stadium being opened, it is a great honour for us, so on Tuesday 7th September 17:30, with councils and dignitaries from the island and the media we hope to promote the sport and the benefits, to a wider audience.
